As a Client Cloud Developer, you will apply your knowledge of software development to design and deliver advanced, market-leading cloud managed services for AWS, Azure and Google clouds.
To facilitate on-time product delivery, you will work with a variety of stakeholders to discuss development efforts, prioritize work, identify and resolve dependencies, and maintain organizational focus. You will provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products, services, and processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology.
You need to possess the ability to grow further into new generations of services and comprehend the requirements and dependencies to integrate into an enterprise level landscape.
Embracing an agile development framework is key. Effectively contribute to Agile workflows – Feature/Epic definition, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, scrum of scrums and retrospectives. Work within a global workforce across multiple time zones. Empowered to collaborate and make decisions together in a team with speed and efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Design and develop in AWS, Azure and GCP Clouds, delivering enterprise level shared services for the management of public cloud endpoints and services
- Translate cloud-native API commands to ServiceNow or other tooling formats
- Work with functional and admin teams to deliver automated workflow solutions with cloud-native tools and ServiceNow
- Advanced scripting of business rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, ACLs, Workflow Activities, etc.
- Facilitate and support the rollout of code through all levels of the SDLC
- Advise functional and admin teams on design, development and overall best practices.
- React quickly to ever-changing market conditions and technology advancements with “out of the box” solutions that allow our business partners to have the tools that will enable them to reach and exceed our sales goals
· Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables
· Work closely with architects and portfolio managers to execute product/services automation/product roadmaps
Qualifications
- 5+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of cloud developer experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP
- 3+ years of experience working as a developer in Agile/Scrum teams
- BS degree in Computer Science, the similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
· Experience working with and managing work with Jira and/or Aha! Experience is a plus
· Extensive experience with Cloud APIs covering software-defined Compute, Networking and storage technologies as well as Cloud native automation tools
- Familiarity with ServiceNow ITIL/ITOM a plus
- Proven and verifiable history of analyzing business situations and working within a group environment to provide efficient and effective software solutions
- Participation in the full software development life cycle: Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing and promotion into Production
· Strong web services experience (REST and SOA architectures)
· Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment
· Experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, JavaScript, Go, Python, Perl, C/C++, C# and Objective C
- Strong working knowledge designing, developing and deploying IaaS and n-tier application hosting on AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Knowledge of system design and development used within Service Oriented Architecture and web services integration (SOAP, WSDL, JAXWS)
- Proven history of providing technical support during all phases of a project delivery. This includes, but is not limited to: development of a project estimates, solution design review, documentation creation, and review, and peer code reviews
- Demonstrated experience with service integration using LDAP, MS Active Directory, ADFS, Single Sign-on and web services
· Experience working with four or more from the following: infrastructure as a service platform, platform as a service, service management, web application development, Unix/Linux environments, mobile application development, distributed and parallel systems, machine learning, information retrieval, natural language processing, networking, developing large software systems, and/or security software development.
- Experience with enterprise ServiceNow implementations
- Must be adaptable to work in a varied, fast-paced exciting, ever-changing environment
- Strong core knowledge of ITIL processes
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues
- Self-starter with a desire to understand work and project objectives
- Excellent organizational, analytical, written and oral communications skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to use those skills to effectively Interface with end users and development teams to conduct systems analysis and planning
- Experience with Kubernetes architecture and tools (Helm/Istio) a plus
- Experience with Microservice development hosted on Kubernetes a plus
