  • 5+ years' commercial experience building automated BDD frameworks
  • History of Automated Testing
  • Experience with automated test tools
  • Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins or similar)
  • Comfortable with agile development using an agile issue management system
  • Experience of Jira to log issues/test feedback
  • Cucumber/Gherkin
  • Git
  • Relational Database experience
  • An RQF Level 5 qualification (e.g. Higher National Diploma) in a Computer Science discipline
  • Cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • REST API
  • An interest in Finance and/or FinTech

Here at Yoh we are currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity to work for an International and Industry Leading, Aviation and Engineering Company. Due to their ongoing success on their Engineering Project across UK airports they are looking to grow the size of their team and recruit for a Software test engineer to take responsibility for the testing of developed software across the projects and ensuring he output meets defined functional and non-functional requirements.

They are looking for someone to come in on an initial 12 month contract based in one of their biggest UK branches in Leicester.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all functional and non-functional design requirements are correctly translated into test cases / scenarios
  • To ensure the configuration control of the hardware and software test environment is managed.
  • Perform testing activities within the project cost and time constraints.
  • To independently decompose the system design requirements into logical units for testing purposes.
  • To execute the detailed test cases and maintain the test records with associated results / configurations
  • Deliver released software from development / test to customer sites and complete final User Acceptance Testing at the clients facility

Knowledge and Experience:

  • At least 3 years' experience in performing Factory and User Acceptance Testing role.
  • Must have had a hands on testing role within the last 2 years (test execution, defect management and test cycle closures)
  • Must have experience of designing test cases from business requirements or detailed design specifications within the last 2 years
  • JIRA or Microsoft Test Manager experience (creation and execution of test scripts, logging of defects and test reporting) within the last 2 years

SAFe Scrum Master - Guildford - £500p/d
A key client has a requirement for a SAFe certified scrum master for an initial 6 month rolling to 18 months.

Essential experience:
Solid understanding of SAFe is essential
Knowledge and experience with Agile Software Development techniques. For example: Release Planning, Scrum of Scrums, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Paired Programming, Automated Testing
Experience with Agile project management tools such as JIRA, VersionOne, or Rally
At least 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team
Windows, Unix, Linux (Redhat, Amazon)

Desirable Skills:
Flexibility. Adapt to changing conditions with changed plans and priorities Experience:
Communicative and social. Clearly communicate changes/requests to the team and status/compromises to stakeholders
