About the Position:

We are looking to fill a Senior Software Engineer role which would work on a small, fast paced team to deliver high quality software to our clients. You will be using cutting edge technologies in this role like Angular 11.0 and Mongo DB. This is a 6 month contract position.

This is a work from home position which means you need to have a space you can work in at home that would allow you to work uninterrupted during your work day. 

You must be able to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. Accountability and initiative are a must as we are a small, tight-knit group, all working remotely.

What You Need to Have:

  • Must be a quick learner and someone who is able to learn on their own
  • 8+ years of programming experience or equivalent education (regardless of language)
  • Experience with the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Node.JS and Angular 4+)
  • Experience with Typescript
  • Experience working with 3rd party APIs
  • 4+ years experience working with NoSQL databases
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills

What Would Be Nice to Have:

  • Experience with AI and Natural Language Processing technologies
  • Experience creating and working with RESTful and SOAP APIs
  • Experience with templating languages like Pug

How We Work:

Our team follows Agile methodologies.  We use Slack & Sococo (Virtual office software) and we all have headsets/webcams for our meetings.  The company mainly operates on Eastern Standard Time, even though we have people in other time zones.  Eligible candidates need to reside in the United States and be willing to work on an EST schedule.  

Compensation & Benefits


Our best perk is we are a virtual company, so you get to work from your home office, which must be in the Greater Philadelphia area.  Our competitive compensation package includes a base salary, phone and internet allowance, paid time off and holidays, health insurance, profit sharing, and 401K with generous match.

We’re looking for Graduate Software Testers to join us and become part of an experienced team in a fast-growing company, where you will play a vital role supporting the development of an award-winning NLP (natural language processing) platform, proven across multiple real-world use cases. The Test team are a highly talented ~15 strong team who strive to provide valuable insights. Respected as the key contributors to quality and product success, testers work across the entirety of Linguamatics’ business. Understanding that every unique experience adds to individual strengths, the team operate a highly flexible approach which includes exploratory testing, checklists, test scripts, tools, automation and a license to test the way that best suits the tasks at hand.

  • Excellent programming skills in C++.
