My long standing client eagerly seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer/Cloud Consultant to join a project team on an initial 6 month contract, starting in June.

As a Senior Cloud Engineer will join an team that is responsible for defining the company hybrid cloud strategy, policies, procedures and technology. The primary focus will be to lead & mentor the cloud engineering function acting as it's "Product Owner" for all Cloud, SaaS, PaaS & IaaS issues. You will need to have an expert Azure Cloud background and will work closely between Service Delivery, Infrastructure and DevOps teams across the business.

The role can be performed 100% remotely for now but will be based in Cardiff once Covid 19 restrictions allow.

Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience of large scale DevOps and Azure Cloud projects
  • Expert knowledge of Azure SaaS, IaaS, PaaS
  • Good understanding of CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager,
  • Good experience with Data platforms - Spark, Hadoop, Kafka
  • Experience of Hybrid systems - OpenShift
  • Design a CI/CD environment for deploying, testing and provisioning of Azure Cloud components.
  • Solid experience with Terraform, Github, K8S, Jenkins
  • Building health and monitoring dashboards and alerts
  • Creating CI/CD Pipelines ensuring they are supportable, resilient, repeatable, compliant
  • Meeting Cloud DevOps business requirements for regulatory programme based on Sprints
  • Ensure all solutions are production stable, well documented and handed over to BAU teams for on going support/maintenance.

  • Lead the UX Design for a strategic workstream from ideation through execution.
  • Create cohesive product design to enhance, or even radically transform, the user experience while upholding accessibility and inclusive design principles.
  • Partner closely with Product, User Research, and Engineering to engage in a collaborative design and open feedback process.
  • Deliver detailed user flows, wireframes, designs, prototypes and other UX deliverables to communicate a range of user flows, states, functional logic, and interactions.
  • Drive towards on-time design implementation with a focus on quality, engineering velocity, and achieving target outcomes.
  • Success Qualifications

  • 4+ years of User Experience Design experience.
  • Expert knowledge of Sketch, Figma, InVision or similar design applications.
  • Familiar with agile software development and lean UX processes.
  • Experience working closely with product managers, user researchers, and engineers.
  • Can share a portfolio of work exhibiting proven skill in creating wireframes, prototypes, and other common UX design artifacts.
  • Excel at understanding, communicating, and designing for a range of users, UX states, interactions, edge-cases, and technical or business constraints.
  • Design with velocity and have a bias toward rapid iteration for learning and development.
  • Bonus Experience
  • Designing for B2B (business to business) SaaS or developer tools.
  • Building using Material Design.

    Senior Ember Front-End Developer required for a fully-remote, Outside IR35 contract and purely greenfield projects build for a Start-up B2B SaaS Provider. The Senior Ember Front-End Developer will be the Ember SME within the development team, that includes 2-3 other F/E Developers, and provide best practice on code delivery.

    They are currently re-inventing and re-building their whole Software suite using Ember.js (Octane codebase, TailwindCSS, etc ) & are looking for the Senior Ember Front-End Developer to integrate the team for 3-6 months to help them accelerate their projects.

    Essentials:

    • Advanced in modern JavaScript, including a minimum 2 years exp with Ember.js.
    • Advanced knowledge of CSS, experience, ideally using Tailwind CSS
    • Totally committed to writing well-documented, clean, & well-tested code.
    • Ability to work remotely and quickly settle in with the existing team.
