My client are global fintech giants and are now in search of a Data Engineer (AWS) Consultant to help deliver systems that must achieve low latency performance with big data scalability. The successful Data Engineer (AWS) should be able to build AWS pipelines, understand clusters and have experience with AWS Glue.
Ideally the Data Engineer (AWS) should be AWS Certified or have an AWS Data qualification. The appointed Data Engineer will help to populate my client’s data lake and also manage the consumption of data.

Role
Over the past 6 months this progressive start-up have completely rebuilt the backend of their white label PWA and are now looking to bring in a contractor for 3-6 months minimum to rebuild the frontend. You will be working with a collaborative team who have achieved unrivalled success with their pwa so far.
For this contract you must have proven experience in rebuilding frontend applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Ideally you will have some experience with React.js, this can be in personal projects and does not have to be commercial experience.
This contract can be completed on a fully remote basis and the business qualify for small business exemption of IR35, so this engagement can be found outside IR35.

Fully remote Frontend contract role - Outside iR35
An AI company in London that has led the way in their industry and made a number of breakthrough discoveries are looking for an AWS Data Engineer on an initial 6 month contract to work on an exciting new project outside of IR35.
The successful candidate will help design and implement ETL tasks and also play an integral part in building data lakes, pipelines and their structure to be used by the cross-functional teams. Prior AWS experience using technologies such as Redshift, Athena, Glue and S3 would be desired alongside ETL tools, in specific Matillion. You will also be required to work with large data sets, therefore, demonstrable experience with Data Lakes, Hadoop, MapReduce and Spark would be preferred. As you will be working on cross-functional data pipelines with the ML and Data Science teams, prior experience of exposure of ML would be desired, however, not essential.
They are looking to get someone started for the end of this month for an initial 6 months, with there being a possibility of an extension from there. The role with be fully remote and outside of IR35.
