Required skills:
Strong understand of network protocols and development of security standards
Deep experience and understanding of the cloud/AWS platform
Must have the skill ability to solution/design independent of the tools/products
Expert skills developing security policy for network infrastructure planning
Expert routing skills (BGP/OSPF/EIGRP)
Expert level experience troubleshooting web-proxy technology (BlueCoat/ZScaler/ForcePoint)
Expertise with proxy services, load-balancing, and application delivery (F5, NetScaler, NGinx)
Expertise with DNS and DNS security (Umbrella, InfoBlox)
Experience with ITIL, Agile (SAFe, Scrum) frameworks
Experience deploying Web Application firewalls (Imperva/Sophos UTM)
Experience configuring firewalls and firewall rule sets (Palo Alto preferred)
Strong experience with VPN, conditional access and remote access technologies (GlobalProtect, PulseSecure)
Experience with monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, App Dynamics, and New Relic)
Strong Network automation/orchestration experience (scripting, Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
Strong background with network security and baseline secure configuration management
Experience with DevOps and integration tools such as GitHub and Python
Experience with scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, and RESTful API
Working knowledge of CASB (NetSkope, MVision, BitGlass)
CISSP or CISM certification
Nice to have skills:
Hybrid cloud experience
Secure Email experience (Mimecast, ForcePoint)
Experience with Wireless networking
Experience with Azure, O365, or IBM Cloud
Familiarity with PCI-DSS regulatory compliance
Additional cybersecurity and network engineering certifications (CISA, CEH, CRISC, CHFI, COMP TIA Security+, etc.)
BS degree in Information Security/Computer Science/Electronics and Engineering/Information Technology.
