The Source Code Management Engineer will be responsible for supporting the Configuration Management environment, primarily in the areas of applications version control and build management.

As a DevOps Consultant at StackOverdrive.io you will work with large to medium-sized companies helping them streamline their infrastructure and deployment strategies.

As a DevOps Engineer you will:

  • Create automated scripts that will build, configure, deploy and test applications deployed to different environments; maintain, support, and enhance our continuous integration environment.
  • Develop system-engineering solutions to help achieve highly available, highly scalable systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in one or more following disciplines: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Informatics, Symbolic Systems, Mathematics or Physics. An advanced degree in one of the above disciplines is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years as a Software Developer, Systems Engineer, or DevOps Engineer at a startup, mid- to large-size company is required.
  • In-depth automation experience using configuration management tools Chef, Ansible & CloudFormation
  • Experience with a CI system (i.e. Gitlab & Jenkins) and monitoring tools (New Relic, Datadog, Sensu).
  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • Prior experience developing or working with any of the following Cloud Computing Service: Amazon Web Services (Preferred), Google Compute, Nutanix and Openstack Private Clouds
  • Strong Python, Ruby coding/scripting skills (other scripting languages may be considered).
  • Ability to work with teams both internally and externally
  • Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical teammates.
  • Flexibility to work within different environments.
  • Willingness to learn and apply new technologies and skills.

We are currently hiring an hourly paid Unity developer who has knowledge of VR and AR tool sets. The number of working hours will depend on company’s need. You will be supporting the design, development, maintenance, and future enhancement on our VR/AR products.

Responsibilities:

· Develop Virtual (or Augmented) Reality Applications and enhance existing products.

· Develop, test, and integrate scripts in C# or C++ to support VR/AR projects.

· Work alongside the product team to design scalable VR/AR products.

· Develop 3D GUI and associated 3D interactions for use in VR/AR environments.

· Perform software engineering activities leveraging agile practices using the latest open source software development and engineering tools.

· Present and resolve any technical program difficulties with the team in a timely manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.

· 5+ years’ experience with C# programming and developing Unity VR/AR applications.

· 5+ years’ experience working with 3D models and animations.

· 5+ years’ experience working with Unity GUI, materials, and assets bundles.

· Extensive experience designing, developing, maintaining, and extending VR/AR applications.

· Proficiency with software programming languages: C++, Java, Python, etc.

· Proficiency with common software development tasks, such as: coding, unit testing, debugging, configuration management, etc.

· Experience with databases and data storage technologies including Relational databases.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with web application frameworks, such as Django, Flask, AngularJS, Node.js, etc.

· Experience in developing Web applications (JavaScript, CSS, HTML, React.js)
