Job Summary:

As a Cloud Networking Engineer, you will be an integral member of the team responsible for developing, operating and maintaining the digital infrastructure in Azure that supports our enterprise applications. We are looking for someone who will be excited to collaborate, communicate and share knowledge across multiple teams. The ideal candidate will bring cloud network engineering experience and knowhow, along with a strong desire to continuously improve the design and delivery of cloud networking services.

Job Responsibilities:

• Drive cloud network engineering for our enterprise IT teams in IaaS/PaaS implementations
• Plan and implement aspects of cloud network and cloud network security infrastructure
• Manages cloud network services including but not limited to: firewall, WAF, IPS, CDN, proxy, load balancing and DNS
• Develops automation for cloud network service delivery, configuration and support
• Provide expert technical assistance to team members with high-level cloud and networking knowledge
• Perform on-going optimization of the cloud network to ensure capacity, availability and scalability
• Assists with projects involving cloud, operating systems, applications, and database
• Follow agile change and release management processes that adhere to VF enterprise standards

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience in cloud network engineering
• Extensive experience with public cloud offerings such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure
• Experience using CI/CD and automation tools such as Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, IaC
• Knowledge of cloud networking architecture, cloud operations, automation and orchestration
• Thorough understanding of cloud computing and software-defined networking (SDN) domain
• Clear understanding of network protocols, standards and architectures
• Strong knowledge of ITIL, SDLC, DevOps and agile processes and practices
• Experience using Ansible, Terraform, Python IaC
