Small and innovative IT company based in the Washington, DC/Baltimore, MD area is looking for an experienced Xamarin Developer. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, develop, test and maintain mobile applications using Xamarin / C# for BOTH iOS and Android.
Develop, deploy and maintain REST Web Services
Estimate mobile software development time and schedules.
Publish mobile applications via Google Play Store or Apple's App Store.
Estimate mobile software development time and schedules.
Design and develop applications in .NET Framework 4.6 with ASP.NET, C#, utilizing Oracle 12C.
Develop and maintain Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, scripts for tables, views, etc.
Estimate software development time and schedules.
Provide ongoing application maintenance and troubleshooting.
Review existing programs and recommend performance improvements.
Ability to work across various operating systems (Linux, Windows).
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in
- Computer Science, or
- Information Systems, or
- Engineering, or
- Business, or
- Other related scientific or technical discipline.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
MINIMUM 5 YEARS OF:
- experience as a senior software programmer.
MINIMUM 3 YEARS OF:
- experience in JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML5 and CSS, JSON, Web services, Oracle Managed Data Access Entity Framework, Telerik Kendo UI, AJAX, WEB API, and integration with backend services.
- experience writing Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and scripts for table, view, and other database objects.
- experience in the design, development and deployment of web-based applications in .NET Framework (4.5 or higher) with ASP.NET, C#, MVC 5 architecture, Entity Framework utilizing Oracle 12C data base.
- experience in the development, deployment and maintenance of REST Web Services.
- experience with Oracle SQL Developer and/or Toad database management tools.
- experience developing and maintaining software technical documents (i.e. System Requirement Specifications, System Design Documents, Software Test Documents, etc.)
- experience in the design, development, testing, publishing and maintenance of mobile applications using Xamarin / C# for BOTH iOS and Android.
- experience managing software version control via Subversion (SVN) and Team Foundation Software (TFS).
- experience with Microsoft Visual Studio (MVS)
- experience with LINQ, Lambdas expression, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- experience with Microsoft Visual Studio Team Suite Testing Tools.
- experience in Agile software development.
