Software Engineer required to join our leading defence sector client in West Sussex on a contract basis.
We are seeking an experienced Developer who specialise in both C# and C++ along with Visual Studio (ideally version 17).
The project is suited to a Developer who has either worked with integrating sensors? (radar, RF-DF,EO) over a UDP link to the control software OR experience of integrating to actual hardware from an ICD document.
Testing the integration with actual hardware is also a trait we hope to find in the chosen Developer as well as any experience of Hardware simulators to exercise the system. The front end GUI uses QT, any exposure to QT would be a great benefit but not essential.
• Experience of programming in C++ and C#

• Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence

Crucible is looking for an experienced, senior-level Unreal developer with extensive knowledge of the Unreal Engine to help us architect our codebase and help us develop our Emergence SDK. You’ll be working in the game dev world but also web3, with Avatars, Digital Fashion, NFTs, Self Sovereign Identity and more.
You'll be working directly with the CTO and lead UI/UX designer as well as the Chief Avatar Officer to help complete features in the Agent UI, participate in testing and fix bugs.
The work is mostly in Unreal UI, but includes a complex data system, integrations with blockchains and crypto wallets, NFTs and other protocols like Matrix.org, WebRTC, plugin development, 3rd party libraries like libindy and more.
