Java Integration Developer with MQFTE (Remote Project)

Job Description
Client Integration Services team is responsible for provided managed file transfer capabilities for the enterprise. We are retiring our Xcellenet service offering. We need a developer to assist in completion of a catalog of current data transfers workflows executed by Xcellenet. Working with Integration Services and other consuming application teams to replace Xcellenet with MQFTE or other technologies.

Work with Integration Services and Development teams to model and provide file transfer integrations solutions that keep the integrity of the current logging, and recovery of failed processes and decompile.

Technical Skills

OS/Programming Languages: Linux/Unix/Windows OS, Python, Java (8 or higher), and C/C++, XML

File Transfer Technologies: MQ, MQFTE, SFTP, and RemoteWare/RemoteLink (is a plus)

Cloud Platform: Microsoft Azure

DevOps Tools: GitHub, Ansible, CI/CD Tools (like Terraform, TeamCity, Azure DevOps), and JIRA

Ensure adherence to architecture standards and roadmaps.
Develop specifications, design, code and unit test using Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices.
Complete estimates and work plan independently as appropriate for design, development, implementation and rollout tasks
Create technical system documentation and ensure that this documentation remains current throughout all phases of the SDLC.
Design and successfully implement infrastructure / middleware components with infrastructure and application teams, ensuring that overall solution is designed to meet SLA (performance and up-time), DR, and scalability needs required by the solution.
Ensure that post-production operational processes / deliverables are well designed and implemented prior to the project moving into the solution support phase.
Follow appropriate change/release management practices.
Develop and maintain deployed technology list for each infrastructure discipline.
Evaluate, select, and implement new technologies with infrastructure teams to ensure adherence to architecture guidelines for new technology introduction.
Evaluate vendor technical and support capabilities.
Provide technical leadership on establishing standards and guidelines.
Build partnerships across the application, business and infrastructure teams.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
