We are seeking a ServiceNow Solutions Consultant to be responsible for leading the successful delivery of ServiceNow solutions and services, in a client- consulting environment. We have numerous ongoing government contracts for ITSM ServiceNow implementations in the DC area.

  • Available for C2C as well as 1099 contracting

Responsibilities:

Involvement in all technical aspects of ServiceNow project and service delivery, including:

  • Application UI Configuration and Customizations
  • Workflow Configuration and Customizations
  • Development of client specific reporting and dashboards
  • Development of integration components (SSO, LDAP, etc.)
  • Business Analysis, Workshops, User Story Definition
  • Customization Document Creation and Refinement
  • Key member of project delivery team
  • Key member of on-going services teams
  • Prepare client facing and internal deliverables
  • Drive continuous improvement of implementation methodology and service offerings
  • Experience and Understanding of Key Integrations
  • Ability to Demonstrate ServiceNow Platform as well as specific Modules to potential and existing customers
  • Work collaboratively with Developers
  • Work collaboratively with both Technical and Non-technical Customers
  • Troubleshoot and Support ServiceNow based Applications and Systems
  • Be Professional and Courteous in all engagements
  • Provide Technical assistance for Pre-Sales Capacity
  • Track and Log Time on a Project/Task basis consistently
  • Work Environment: Candidate must be comfortable working remotely and to travel to Customer Sites and Locations. Utilizing telecommuting technology and collaborative systems to work as a team is an essential skill. Candidate must enable themselves to work efficiently, with minimal oversight and to best utilize their time to meet goals and timelines both internal and customer facing.

Requirements

To be successful the candidate must have:

  • Degree (or equivalent) preferably in Information Technology (or a similar technical subject)
  • Proven experience (2+ years) as a key ITSM technical resource leading the development of solutions in client environments
  • Experience with modern and relevant web technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, AngularJS, etc.) and of working in a PaaS or SaaS environment.
  • Knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, VPN, SSL and other such technologies
  • Basic understanding of Integration methods and capabilities (ETL, FTP, REST, SOAP, JDBC)
  • Good Understanding of relational databases
  • Good Understanding of ITIL (ITIL Foundations Certified Preferred)
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) around all key technical decisions during project delivery
  • Strong interpersonal skills, customer centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversity. Degree or equivalent, preferably in Information Technology and proven experience in technical consulting roles
Certifications & Knowledge The candidate must be willing and able to continue their education within the ServiceNow platform and beyond. It is expected that the candidate will be able to complete ServiceNow competency Certifications as well as Module Accreditations.
