Sr. Java/J2EE Developer

Looking for a full stack Java Developer for one of our client. No C2C

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain new web applications using J2EE, Spring Framework, and Hibernate
• View, add, and update SQL records using Oracle, JPA, and Hibernate
• Write, style and maintain front-end applications using JSP, JSTL, jQuery, AJAX, REST services and CSS
• Write helpful logging messages using Log4j and test and debug code with JUnit
• Manage tasks, sprints, documentation in Confluence, and code repositories in BitbucketQualifications

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in front-end development technologies with a minimum 10 years JavaScript
• Experience in J2EE, JSP, Spring Framework, AJAX, JSTL, Hibernate (Jackson-datatype-hibernate4 2.6.1), Log4j, JSON, Itextpdf (5.5.13), Junit, Oracle DB, Toad, Eclipse, JIRA
• Good proficiency in consuming web services with REST calls
• Using and working in team environments that use agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Lean)

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Toad for Oracle is preferred
• Experience with Eclipse IDE is preferred
• Experience with 508 Website Compliance is preferred
• Mentor junior developers.

Qualifications:

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other IT degree
• Engineering, math, and/or science degrees are acceptable substitute degrees
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
• Relevant Certification
• The ability to successfully obtain and maintain a U.S. Suitability/Public Trust Background Clearance
