Cloud Security Engineer (Contract) (Remote)

Cloud Security Engineer -

Location: Remote Work From Home

The cloud security engineer (contractor) will work with the IT, DevOps, and product development groups in support of SOC 2/ISO 27001 compliance effort.

Requirements:

5 years of experience in IT, DevOps, or Security Engineering, in a regulated environment, with emphasis on the following technical and soft skills:

Technical experience

• Secure SDLC, SAFe Agile, Jira, Confluence, Git, Mercurial
• Strong experience with public cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service (Iaas) such as MS Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS). Experience with the secure configuration and documentation of IAM, Security Policies, VPC, Cloudwatch, RDS, S3, and other AWS technologies.
• Penetration testing, Application Vulnerability Testing
• Infrastructure-as-Code tools - Ansible, Cloudformation, Terraform
• Monitoring, alerting, logging and analysis tools - IDS/IPS, SIEM, Syslog, forensics
• Identity Management, SSO, SAML, OAUTH/2
• Secure management of Google G Suite, Office 365.
• Linux, Microsoft Windows, and Active Directory system administration.

Communications skills

• Collaborative, team player
• Strong technical writing skills, with the ability to create documentation, policies and procedures with minimal need for edits or re-writing
