Position: AWS/Cloud Full Stack Developer
Location: Herndon, VA
Duration: 16-17 months
Description:
Manager is looking for a Strong AWS Developers who worked on real implementations and is quickly productive in a highly dynamic and fast paced Agile environment.
- 8+ years of programming experience with Java, J2EE, XML, and Web Services
- 8+ years of experiences in full life cycle application/system development
- Minimum of 7 years of experience developing in distributed application environments (Database, Transaction Management)
- 6 years of experience writing conceptual and detailed design documents, and developing large scale enterprise applications following an Agile execution model
- Strong Development/programming experience in Java and/or Python required.
- Experience in Angular will be preferred.
- Strong AWS development Experience (2-3 years) including AWS CodePipeline , AWS Lambda, API Gateway, AWS CLI/Yaml/CloudFormation, AWS ElasticBeanStalk, Serverless development
- At least 2 years of experience with Application integrations (SOAP/REST Web Services,Spring, ESB,JMS,File/Data transfers, etc)
- Ability to write well designed, testable and efficient code
- Good communication and collaboration skills, team player
- Takes accountability/ownership for the assigned tasks/deliverable
- Familiar with GIT repositories (Bit Bucket) and Agile Methodology/SCRUM/Kanban
Nice to have:
- AWS Advanced Certifications
- Experience with any ESB technology such as TIBCO BW/BE, Mulesoft etc.
- Experience with Angular 4/5/6 development, Java script

AWS Developer
Strong in J2ee, Spring boot, deploy in Elastic Bean Stack around AWS
AWS Lambda development. Lambda functions in Java or Python.
Automated, so should be good in Cloud Formation Template.
Interact with multiple teams. Suggest solution to the teams.
Additional Notes:
Java full stack with strong AWS experience.
Python experience
7 to 8 on Java/J2ee.
AWS Lambda API Gateways, Platformation Deployment, Workflow Engine.
Hands on experience on AWS SWF (Simple Work Flow)
Prior client is beneficial.
Additional Information:
- Candidates coming from Capital One do not have the in-depth AWS knowledge needed. They have very limited access to and knowledge of multiple AWS services as many CapOne systems are home grown.
- Candidates need to have experience with multiple AWS services including EC2, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, EC2, Lambda, Stepfunctions, Cloudformation, AWS API gateway etc.
