SQL/ .NET Application Developer
Per Federal Govt Sector U.S Citizenship or Greencard Required
Must be able to pass Federal background investigation
NW Washington DC 20006 (Farragut Metro Stop)
2yr+ Contract opportunity
$60/hr- $75/hr W2 or C2C

The Board prefers contractors to be United States citizens, United States nationals, or intending citizens because the work may involve access to sensitive information.

REQUIREMENTS

• With three (3) or more years of experience
• Strong SQL/.NET
• Experience writing SQL stored procedures is mandatory
• Experience in converting stored procedures from DB2 to SQL would be nice

Qualifications
Personnel Qualifications: More than three (3) years of experience with technologies listed below.

• Experience with developing client server, mainframe and/or web-based applications using one or more technologies listed below
• Demonstrated strong analytical skills
• Experience in analysis and design of systems
• Knowledge of relational database development or administration
• Knowledge of a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Ability to document analysis and design and participate in peer reviews
• Knowledge of structured or object-oriented programming, as applicable
• Knowledge of secure programming practices

Technologies Required

• Net framework including VB.Net, ASP.Net, ADO.Net, C#, Silverlight
• Angular and MVC
• Experience upgrading deprecated versions of Angular
• HTML, XML, XSLT, Javascript
• Team Foundation Server (TFS)
• DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Service
• Java (with J2EE)

Highly preferred experience, the following skills will be a plus:

• Strong SQL/.NET
