Steven Singer Jewelers is a fast-growing retail jewelry company with both in-store and web sales. Web sales are transacted through SalesForce Commerce Cloud, and local sales through an outdated local POS system. We also have a series of MS Access modules which sit on top of and beside the POS software. These have been in the process of being converted and expanded using a .Net web portal. As of now, the Order Management functionality has been built out in the portal and integrated into both the POS and Commerce Cloud. Fine-tuning of that module is ongoing. The remaining modules are in line to be converted and integrated into the portal.
Currently, we have one full-time full-stack .Net developer. We are looking for someone to work in a team with the existing developer, business stakeholders and project coordinators. This is a full-time or contract position. The work can be a combination of remote and on-site, though initially, due to Covid-19 restrictions, the position would require working remotely from home, with meetings via MS Teams and Zoom.
We are looking for a software developer to join the experienced team, ideally with 2-3 years of relevant experience. The person who fills this position would work closely with one or more mentors to learn the platform as well as the business.
