Sr. DevOps Engineer with (Application/Software Development B... (Remote)

NOTE: THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION AND WE LOOK FOR EXCELLENT SR. DEVOPS CONSULTANT HAVING MORE THAN 10-12 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH APPLICATION/SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT BACKGROUND.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

• Partner with product engineering teams to understand pain points in software delivery and build cross-functional tools and platform services to solve those common problems
• Pair with product engineering teams to deliver resilient, Internet-scale, REST-based solutions on public cloud platforms
• Produce effective architectural standards, development frameworks, and reference implementations for agile development teams
• Stay on top of the latest developments in cloud technology
• Identify best practices and drive cross-functional adoption
• Define non-functional requirements for successfully building and operating Internet-scale e-commerce solutions

REQUIREMENTS

• 10+ years software engineering experience
• 5+ years experience with designing and building REST based service architectures
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and best practices
• Strong analytical problem solving skills
• Experience with modern micro-service architectures
• Detail oriented and work well in a team and individually
• Proven ability to achieve intended outcomes through influence and collaboration
• Self-starter with strong initiative and ability to work under pressure
• Understanding of the entire development process (design, development and deployment)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize work and complete tasks with quick turnaround times
• Excellent organizational, time, and project management skills
• Business-minded approach to time, costs, and deadlines
• Experience with continuous integration tools such as Gitlab CI, Github Actions, Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, or Travis

• Go (golang) or Node.js programming language experience

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
