MID LEVEL ASP .NET DEVELOPER

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and develop applications. Translate design to code and perform unit test on the developed code and applications.
• Perform requirements analysis. Assist in collecting and documenting customer requirements. Participating team design activities. Provide suggestions on system design configurations, business process design.
• Develop web applications on .NET platform. Coding in advanced Object Oriented languages such as C#. Write test cases. Perform code reviews.
• Participate in all aspects of application lifecycle from inception through design, programming, testing, documentation review and assisting with customer support.
• Generate reports according to end user requirement. Customizing report to meet customers’ expectations. Quality control exported data to ensure accuracy of the reports.
• Analyzes and recommends methods of improving the efficiency of existing programs. Determines system requirements. Performs data modeling and establishes databases.
• Writes procedural guidance to be followed by users. Maintains files records and operational data and prepares periodic and/or special reports and various other documents pertaining to assignments.
• Provide configuration management in the development environment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education / Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or engineering, MIS, Math, Physics etc. and a minimum of six (6) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Qualifications:

• Comprehensive knowledge of C# and .NET framework. Including, but not limited to ASP.NET, ADO.NET.
• Experience with creating data driven web applications, n-tier architecture based applications, enterprise architecture applications, writing user controls, and web controls.
• Working knowledge of common Object-Oriented design patterns, best practices, as well as common frameworks. Knowledge and experience of .NET MVC.
• Experience with web application related technologies, HTML/XML, Ajax, JavaScript, DHTML, CSS, CMS, Flash, Microsoft Enterprise Libraries and HTML5.
• Experience working with relational databases, including MS SQL Server, Oracle, My SQL.
• Experience with creating web services as well as web service clients.
• Experience using source code version control software.
• Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS Cloud.
• Understanding of industry best practices for development process, documentation and SDLC.
• Knowledge and experience in writing Automation testing scripts is a plus.
• Prior experience with developing reports in SSRS, Logi Info, or other BI/reporting tools is a plus
