JAVA DEVELOPER (Remote)

    Remote work for the foreseeable future, but eventually onsite in SW Portland, Oregon once pandemic is over.

    Daily job duties/responsibilities include:

  • Design, develop and implement dynamic Web content and Web-server application using Java/J2EE, Struts and associated technologies.
  • Managing various customer integrations, including design, development and implementing architecture and framework
  • Providing expert analysis to troubleshoot technical and functional-related issues and fixing bugs in the base product.
  • Work on design and development of REST API framework using Java, Spring and Hibernate
  • Work in an agile environment where the Product owner and Business Analysts define the stories for each sprint which spans for two weeks.
  • Develop PL/SQL queries and stored procedures for data validation and process.
  • Design and develop and schedule the batch jobs to run the daily and monthly task to meet the business needs.
  • Work on enhancement of existing jClarety application using, Java, Servlets, Struts, JSP, JavaScript, HTML, JDBC and EJB frameworks
  • Configure and deploy the application on WebSphere server.

  • Key things are J2EE, struts, and hibernate.

    The database is SQL; but does not matter if they have Oracle either. SQL Server is desired highly.

    Must have demonstrated Java/J2EE skills over 8 years . Must have very good interpersonal skills. Problem solving & get-it-done attitude is highly desirable.
