Profile – Application Developer
Our client requires experienced Application Developer to assist the development team with delivery of a new MERN (MongoDB / Express /React / NodeJS) application which will support the business when we start returning to our office locations.
Duties – Application Developer
• The Application Developer shall with other members of the development team to deliver key features for the new application.
• Integrate the new application with our existing systems, services, and external APIs.
• Take a proactive approach to making all features as reusable and flexible as possible.
• Participate in Agile project management ceremonies (daily stand-up, sprint planning / retrospective)
Experience - Application Developer
• Development experience using MERN framework for web application development
• Strong skills in advanced JavaScript/TypeScript (NodeJS ES6) technologies
• Experience building extensible and flexible UIs and CMS (preferably wizard based, drag drop builders)
• Unit and E2E test automation with Cypress
• Industry standard CI/CD Orchestration Tools (Git Flow, AWS Code Commit)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with good attention to detail
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience mentoring, supporting, and collaborating with other developers
Candidates who are currently an Application Developer, Software Engineer, Software Developer, Web Developer, Application Engineer and IT Software Engineer could be suitable for this role.
