I'm currently working with one of the worlds leading developers and manufacturers within the mobile communications and wireless space that are looking for several experienced Test Automation developer to join them for a mid-long term contract. As the right engineer for the job you will have either extensive experience in Python test automation development (writing test frameworks from scratch) or a more general experience of QA/ Test Automation building and maintenance.

IR35 Notice: Due to the working practices of my client this role has been determined as INSIDE of IR35. This is a REMOTE working contract.

We're ramping up on a number of engagements and several experienced SDET ‘s / developers in test to start in July/ August. The projects available are a mix of both greenfield ramp-ups and joining existing 101 engagements, where we already have teams of engineers doing great work.

As an experienced SDET, you will primarily be supporting the engineering teams in “moving quality to the left” and ensuring that testing is a consideration in any new or existing software and systems integration. You’ll be working alongside engineering teams and building automation frameworks from scratch

Overview

Our client is currently seeking a Backend Developer to join their team. You will be working on a project that involves the design, build and operation of a cloud-based cross-public sector property information solution that:

  • Automates data collection from designated government databases and 3rd party sources.
  • Uses this data to create dashboards, reports and analytics using Business Intelligence and Geospatial tools.

You will have the following skills and experience:

  • Agile (Scrum) experience over the course of at least 6 projects (or 6 phases of a larger programme of work) from inception to deployment.
  • Experience contributing as part of a team of at least 4 developers within an Agile environment.
  • Experience designing and developing restful APIs utilising node.js with typescript.
  • Experience developing serverless services on AWS (AWS Lambda).

Desirable experience:

  • Knowledge and understanding of test automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver and experience supporting test engineers in the development of automated tests.
