Job Description:
At Becton Dickinson the BI team has created a team structure where the development of the applications happens solely through our off-shore group while the on-shore team is made of techno-functional leads. These leads work with their correspondent team of off-shore developers to deliver the projects they are responsible for. This lead won't need to do technical work but needs to have enough technical expertise to assure the requirements gathered from the business are translated accurately to the developers. It must be someone that has had experience with a distributed delivery model and that can communicate effectively with the business and with the developers. Preferably the candidate should have worked on a managed services accounts or complex delivery environments with structured release management governance. Candidate must have worked with an agile delivery methodology.
Responsibilities and Duties
Requirements:
Document system requirements specifications
Design and Development:
Oversee/manage technical assessment, system design specification (SDS), build and unit testing
Oversee/manage documentation of technical design
Assure that all design is properly documented and approved by project sponsors
Testing:
Create integration test cases
Oversee/manage execution of integration test cases
Oversee/manage correction of integration testing defects
Go-Live:
Oversee/manage cutover plan and execution
Hypercare:
Oversee/manage Hypercare support
Experience in clients and environments where:
Cost reduction is a constant
The focus is heavy on an Off-shore delivery model (75% 25% at a minimum)
Last minute leadership requirements have to be met
Have a proven record working on an environment with multiple IT Vendors
Relationship btw client and Capgemini are sometimes difficult

THE SPECIFICS OF THE ROLES
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in Life Sciences sector, specifically in the domain areas of Master Data Management
Experience on Business Intelligence tools around Data Integration and Reporting. Specific prior experience in SQL Server, BODS and QlikView will be an added advantage
Ability to interact directly with client business teams, understand functional requirements for data integration / reporting & converting the same into SRS
Guiding the offshore technical team in understand the requirements and converting the same into technical design and solution
Co-ordinate and manage the Testing cycle of the solutions built by the technical team.
Act as the CG SPOC during UAT and the bridge between client business and CG technical teams
Project Management experience required. Candidate would be expected to do project management activities like project planning, status reporting, risk and issue tracking for the projects he is responsible for.
Good understanding of MDM
2+ years of hands-on experience in Reltio MDM
4 years of JAVA hands on experience
Through understanding of REST Webservices, Multithreading, Reflection, Collection framework, Design Patterns, JSON
Worked on integration of different cloud platforms
3 years of experience in MSSQL
Understanding MuleSoft ESB.
Experienced in dealing with difficult clients and stressful environments
Experienced in gathering requirements, creating test cases, and in integration between Reltio other platforms, like BODS, MuleSoft, BPC, BW, etc.
End to end experience in design specification, build - implementation and testing.
Excellent communication skills.
Experienced in leading an off-shore team.
