what are characteristics of good test cases
what are the criteria for good requirements
working on coding standards, test standards, requirements standards
helping the organization to have standard criteria for quality products.
Work across multiple teams to jointly develop, document, and train firmware process elements.
Drive organizational changes with process development.
Participate in the auditing and certification of firmware development processes with internal and external auditors.
Partner with Reliability and Quality (RE/QE) to ensure development processes align with quality goals.
Support agile project teams through the new firmware development process.
Ensure on-time delivery of firmware working with teams.
Drive continuous improvement of process development.
Software verification, Embedded software, process improvement, documentation process, requirements analysis
5+ years of experience throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle in C/C++
2+ years recent experience in a role where you were focused on improving software development processes and criteria for what good looks like. Software Verification Engineers from regulated industries have worked out well.
Ability to communicate with engineers, understand what they have done, and desire to improve that process and define what "good" looks like.
Ability to recognize something is wrong. Ability to work with people, collect their feedback and implement something - not just enforce something.
Software verification from regulated industries are good like automotive, medical or aerospace.
