Job Description :

Role: Full Stack Developer

Location: Rockville, MD

Full Stack Developer to join a client in the financial industry. The client is a leading regulatory authority, with multi-tied applications on the cloud (AWS). The position is on a long-term ocntract basis, offering competitive compensation. Successful candidates will be strong software developers (Java, SQL, JavaScript, Angular), with high level knowledge of Spring, RDBMS & REST, in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities:

• • Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios.
• • Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across a full-stack of development tools and technologies.
• • Develop solutions that are highly available, durable, scalable, and cost efficient.
• • Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community.
• • Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity.

Qualifications:

• • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other relevant Engineering
• • MUST be 50/50 front end, back end Full Stack Developer
• • 6+ years’ experience in software development (Java/SQL)
• • 6+ years’ experience in Java
• • 4+ years’ experience in Spring
• • 2+ years’ REST/web services experience
• • 2+ years experience in AngularJS
• • 4+ years’ experience in JavaScript
• • 3+ years’ experience in RDBMS
• • 5+ years’ experience in Agile practices

Preferred Qualifications:

• • At least 1 year of recent experience with AWS Technologies
• • Some experience with Machine Learning and Data Science.
• • Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices
• • Experience in UX

Notes :

Fully remote right now but potentially might need to relocate or be able to go to Rockville MD office post COVID
