Java Developer (Remote)

Position Title: Java Backend Developer

Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: Long Term

Key Responsibilities:
- Code high-volume software
- Create applications using React/Java and other technologies
- Partner closely with cross functional teams in design, product and other business units
- Ensure quality using standard metrics
- Working with operations teams to ensure applications and services are highly available and reliable

Basic Requirements:
- 5+ years if experience in application development
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Masters preferred)
- Proficiency in Java (preferably with react)
- Very strong foundational knowledge in Object-Oriented Design Principles, Data Structures,
Algorithms, SQL/NoSQL, Operating Systems, and Software Engineering
- Build analytics on top of payments platform data
- Have visualization on the data representation for various categories like
instruments/countries/currencies
- Apply machine learning to get valuable insights
- Basic knowledge of web technologies (such as HTTP, HTML/DOM, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX) will
be beneficial
- Understanding around concepts like Web Services, SOA, REST APIs
- A constant desire to grow, learn, and explore new things

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• REST: 1 year (Preferred)
• Java: 6 years (Preferred)
