Business Intelligence Developer (Remote, WFH)

Job description

SKILLS:

• Proficient with Business Intelligence Platforms (i.e. Amazon QuickSight, Tableau, TIBCO Spotfire, R, etc.)
• Expert in SQL programming, database structures and schemas
• Expert in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, formulae, pivot tables, macros and VBA)
• Understanding of Lean and continuous improvement (Kaizen) principles preferred
• Demonstrated and proven project management skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders with a customer service focus and mindset

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop and deploy reporting solutions for Phase I-IV clinical trials
• Meet customer requirements and timelines for report deliverables
• Manage development lifecycle of report generation (development, test/QA, UAT, bug fix/retest cycles)
• Ensure proper documentation of SQL code and report deployments in GitHub
• Maintain and support portfolio of standard and custom reports

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience), preferably in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related IT discipline
