Agile Team Lead

I'm currently on the lookout for an experienced Lead / Head .Net Developer for a digital transformation project based in the West Midlands

You will head up an agile product team - providing hands on technical leadership to a team of developers; shaping project delivery; turning technical designs into working software

The ability to deliver maintainable clean code and guide others in doing so (using TDD etc.) is essential for this role, as is leading agile teams.

Lead Developer

Essential Skills

• Experience of providing hands on technical leadership to other developers
• Experienced in turning technical designs in to working software
• A thorough understanding of architectural patterns and principles
• The ability to communication effectively
• Able to develop software in C# using recent language and framework features
• Able to develop software using SQL server as the underlying data store
• Able to write code to meet user requirements using a Test Driven Development approach
• Ability to deliver maintainable/clean code and guide others in doing so
• A thorough understanding of SOLID Principles
• An understanding of distributed, enterprise level, applications

Highly Desirable

• Able to deliver software to utilise the features of the Azure platform
• Comfortable coding in the open using GIT
• An understanding of Continuous Integration/Development
• Able to deliver web applications using ASP.NET MVC
• Able to deliver web services using WebAPI
• Able to deliver software using BDD

Desirable

• Able to delivery software in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban)
• Familiarity with Dapper or another ORM
• An understanding of HTML & CSS
• Familiarity with JavaScript
