Senior UI / UX Developer is required to join a successful, dynamic, and experienced in-house development team based in a newly refurbished office in Raynes Park, Wimbledon. As a Senior Front-end Developer, you will have the chance to work within a business-critical IT team on several exciting new projects in the current development pipeline as well as work on my clients existing projects including their next generation platform.

My industry leading client and the successful Senior UI / UX Developer will have the chance to work on an application used by some of the biggest brands within the UK. You will have the chance to lead the front-end development and be involved in the future direction of the technologies. This exciting opportunity also allows the chance to learn new technologies as well as share your ideas and experience with the existing team.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Excellent design skills, with a talent for turning functional UIs into elegant UIs.
• A fast learner with excellent quantitative, analytical and communication skills
• Excellent documentation skills

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

• Designing and developing UIs for complex web applications

• A proven ability to migrate and upgrade existing front-end frameworks.
• Improving and upgrading systems with dynamic, client-side functionality
• Experience in following processes for UI including:
  • Fully responsive mobile-first development
  • User analysis and testing
  • Wire framing and prototyping
  • Story boarding
  • Ability to scope MVP or functionality within an iterative & incremental development environment.
• Experience working with Agile, Scrum, Jira, Confluence, Git, Jenkins, or other related tools.
• Experience in
  • JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, SASS
  • Angular 1.8 to 8, React, Node, Gulp
  • Unit testing
  • Web Application Security
  • Front-End integration with Back-End REST APIs
  • Performance optimisation
• Experience of working with a Java Development team utilising technology such as Oauth, JWT, Json, Rest, Spring etc
