With a rich heritage in data visualisation, we create digital products, services, and stories in and about complex, data-rich environments from Smart Cities to Industrial IoT and Finance. We aim to change behaviour by having a measurable impact on people. As part of The Economist Group we punch above our weight for a small studio, working with large international organizations on critical projects.
We are looking for an experienced creative coder to lead building the experiential part of an upcoming project for a recognised brand client. Working hand in hand with the design team, you will be expected to collaborate closely to develop a creative vision for the project and will be responsible for defining a creative execution to match.
You will be an expert in WebGL or related rich interactive web technologies, using rapid prototyping to explore and communicate concepts. You will also be able to collaborate with front and back end engineers through the build phase of the project to deliver a high quality, optimised, rich interactive experience.
You will be helping us build a large greenfield project for our global multinational client, combining expertly researched data and modelling with rich experiential visuals. The aim is to help their clients - some of the largest and most influential businesses in the world - navigate to the best outcome from an uncertain business climate.
This contract will be in two phases - 5 weeks discovery and 12 weeks build, which we hope will follow on but cannot guarantee that right now. Ideal start 14th December.
This position is restricted to UK-based candidates.
