Senior .Net Developer (Remote)

RCM Technologies is seeking a high-level Senior .NET Developer for one of our most valued Insurance clients in Sacramento, CA. This developer will be a part of the existing IT Deployment team and responsible for deploying EPIC as their Agency Management System. Experience with Property & Casualty Insurance is mandatory.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Responsible for assisting in the design, deployment, development, and implementation of various complex applications.
• Deploy Applied Systems (EPIC) as their Agency Management System both internally and for select partners.
• Working knowledge of Applied Systems Products, like EPIC, is a big plus

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• 7+ years' experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer or similar role utilizing Microsoft technologies
• Property & Casualty Insurance knowledge is must have
• Strong experience with C# programming language and/or other .NET languages
• Knowledge of web service concepts (REST, JSON, XML).
• Knowledge of SQL Server technologies and experience developing database applications using SQL server.
• Strong experience with CI/CD best practices. Experience setting up and maintaining automated build and release pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft development technologies, including .Net, C#, MVC.Net and SQL Server and frameworks/systems (e.g. AngularJS, Git)
• Experience with web services and web API development.
• Extensive experience with unit and integration testing.
• Knowledge of web technologies, such as HTML, CSS and Javascript
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic this work can be done remotely but will eventually be done onsite in the RCM client's Sacramento, CA office location.
