We are looking for a Senior GIS Developer for our client in Austin, TX. This individual will be responsible for analyzing, developing, validating, and deploying a GIS solution for revenue collection divisions. You will develop geographic information systems that may link parcel maps with financial data and other data to produce maps and quantify information about the impacts of features on parcel ownership.
You:
10+ years experience with GIS, including reading and interpreting surveys, legal descriptions, cartography, engineering documents, construction plans, aerial photography and orthophotography 5+ years experience designing, developing and deploying GIS Solutions, including designing effective web pages to deliver interactive, data driven GIS applications 5+ years experience transposing physical maps into digital shapefiles 5+ years with Enterprise Server and how to create and manage ArcGIS web services 5+ years experience with highly complex security application requirements Integrating with standard geo formats such as KML, Shapefiles or GeoRSS, ArcGIS software, technologies and API’s Creating output to predefined database tables Experience with Jira, Confluence, and deploying ArcGIS Enterprise in AWS or Azure is a plus Familiar with Agile project management and have advanced verbal/written communication skills, as well as a proficient understanding of secure development practices (including authentication, authorization, confidentiality, data-integrity, non-repudiation, and availability). You must be able to follow software development processes, follow a detailed project plan and generate work estimates. The Worker must be able to take assignments and direction from agency management and technical lead staff. Experience in public sector is a plus Experience with PL/SQL, Python and ESRI Javascript API programming languages preferred GIS certifications preferred What We Offer:
