Role Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Salesforce Administrator to have the opportunity to take a guided step-up in their career by handling some of the CRM Managers' responsibilities for at least 6 months of maternity cover. The 12 month period includes a handover and settling period and has the potential of growing into a permanent role. The successful candidate will have a record of improving processes and adoption using the Force.com platform. The Administrator will work closely with Business Leaders, Department Heads, End Users and Third Parties to identify, develop and deploy new business processes. The role encompases stakeholder engagement, system administration and data analysis. The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the maintenance and improvement of our CRM platform as well as day-to-day configuration and user support.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary System Administrator for the Salesforce.com environment with 70+ users across 4 European sites

  • Work closely with our Salesforce Partners EMPAUA to deliver improvement projects from our exciting Road Map

  • Lead the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests.

  • Manage all user support requests

  • Own all administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, validation rules, workflows and other routine tasks

  • Maintain the database for integrity and accuracy including cleansing and duplicate record management

  • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades

  • Manage Salesforce.com integrations such as Hubspot and Conga

  • Work closely with our Management Team to establish suitable processes to support Finance, Marketing and Sales functions

  • Responsible for the training of new users, and growing the Salesforce skill set across the organisation

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience in a Salesforce System Administrator role
  • Self motivated with the ability to work on own initiative with a positive attitude

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills

  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines

  • Ability to handle and prioritise simultaneous requests whilst under pressure

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality

  • Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build/update custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, validation rules, custom views, reports/dashboards and other content of intermediate complexity

  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills

  • Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation

  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all associated applications, systems and processes

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience working in a Technical environment

  • ADM201 Certification would be a "nice to have"

  • Project Management skills

Location:

This role would be primarily based in the Head Office in Manchester City Centre, with the opportunity to work remotely when appropriate (1-2 days per week typically).
