Are you a seasoned cloud architect, who has led teams, and supported enterprise architecture design? We are seeking a Principal Cloud Architect to help design a next generation Clinical Platform and guide teams to drive and manage high-quality execution and operational excellence, as they deliver technology solutions that meet business needs and maximize customer experience, growth, and retention. You will be able to do more with the backing and support of a Fortune 6 company.
This will be a lead position, that will also require hands-on, partnering with Product Management, Software Engineering teams and vendor partners to create next generation Clinical software platforms, applications and products.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver business transformation through disruptive technology innovation
  • Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of many technical areas in technology through experience and academic achievement
  • Serving as a Subject Matter Expert for IaaS and PaaS services offered on cloud platforms and understanding how to use them together to build complex solutions
  • Have a range of CI/CD tools experience using Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Terraform, Python, Go
  • Have strong AWS and MS-Azure experience
  • Demonstrate Docker and Kubernetes knowledge and expertise
  • Makes design choices for the software structure, frameworks, protocols, algorithms and determines best practices, tool strategy.
  • Ability to coach and collaborate - you enjoy working closely with others, pairing and learning, and are comfortable showing off your work.
  • Developing services, controls and patterns for public cloud that enable security and privacy at scale.
  • Defining and documenting architecture, capturing and documenting non-functional (architectural) requirements, preparing estimates and defining technical solutions.
  • Works with internal teams to provide insight on complex internal technology matters
  • Participates in organization wide projects and contributes to enterprise wide initiatives
  • Lead change and innovation - pursue opportunities to adopt new technologies and drive adoption to enhance business outcomes - drive and mange high-quality execution across organizational lines
  • Creating proof-of-concepts to demonstrate viability of solutions under consideration
  • Communicate with impact - influence and negotiate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders to achieve win-win solutions that advance organizational goals
  • Creating solutions that support a DevOps approach for delivery and operation of services.
  • Providing industry expertise that will support and guide business decisions around strategic investments
  • Deliver business transformation through disruptive technology innovation
  • Ideally, has worked in Health Payers and Providers, and has exposure to Health IT, Healthcare Analytics, and Healthcare Technologies.
  • US Citizen or US Permanent Residents
  • W2 or C2C (self-employed only), Long Term Contract, Contract to Hire, and Direct Hire flexible options
  • Flexible Remote Work and/or North Hills Office
