ARC Group is looking for an Applications Architect to start ASAP with a client of ours in beautiful Jacksonville, Florida. The position will start remotely, but when our client returns to the office, this person would need to work onsite. The position can sit in Jacksonville, Florida (preferred), or Birmingham, AL.

Location: Jacksonville, FL / Birmingham, AL.
It’s a 90 days contract to hire. They can work remotely until this Covid-19 restriction is lifted.
Position Responsibilities:
Working with Senior IT and Business Managers to define strategic roadmap.Working with development teams supporting systems for the three P&C companies.Collaborating with other members of the Enterprise Architecture team on technologies and approaches.Participating in the Proof of Concept work to evaluate platforms and capabilities.Leading a team through the initial stages of a development program and assisting through the execution phase.Position Qualifications:
8+ years of progressively more responsible work experience in a technical discipline.Experience developing SOAP, JMS, or Restful services leveraging one or more of the following: Java, JavaScript, Spring, Groovy, Spring Boot, AWS Lambdas, Spring Integration, Camel, XML, JSON, and YAML. Additional experience with AWS Connect or similar platforms is desirable.Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Cloud migration, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, Organizational Change Management, and focus on business outcomes required.Experience with design, development, and deployment of cloud-native solutions such as Lambda, API Gateway, Docker containers, cloud data platforms (DynamoDB, Aurora, RDS).Proven experience in designing and developing large scale enterprise applications in a technical development lead role, solution architecture role, application architecture role, or enterprise architecture role.Must have strong presentation, verbal, and written skills.Application performance analysis and tuning experience.SGKNL
