We are currently recruiting for a DevOps Engineer on an initial 4-month contract. Please note this role is remote working to begin with, then 1-2 days in the office based in Greater Manchester later on in the year.

This site is home to a unique new Technology and Innovation Centre and is responsible for the research, design and development of next generation products37.5 hours per week 6 month contract - possible extension to 12 months £23 hourly rate.£44,850 per annum. We provide life science, diagnostic and applied market laboratories worldwide with instruments, services, consumables, applications, and expertise.Principle Duties/ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership and support to a team of Software Testers such that they can execute the tests to the test plan requirements.Setup the Test Automation infrastructure and automate the UI workflow tests using various toolsWork with development team/QA leadership and come up with appropriate test automation strategies for the various parts of our applications across multiple software platformsIdentify and incorporate new test tools and processes aligned with industry best practicesRepresent Software Quality as a key member of the new product development teamsProvide valuable services and guidance to new product development teams to support them in achieving high quality resultsConsolidate a variety of data sources to identify and drive improvement to enhance product quality and overall customer experiencePlan software tests and evaluations of new product designs in accordance with the requirements of the corporate product life cycleDefine and implement test methods, test procedures and test criteria.
