My client is currently recruiting for a core java developer with test automation experience on a remote working basis for an initial 9 month contract.
Post covid-19 this role will be based in London or Uxbridge
Essential Skills: *8+ years of combined software development, QA and test automation experience. *Expert in Core Java and Spring (5+ yrs experience), ability to build software applications and frameworks from scratch *Experience in refactoring and extending test automation/performance frameworks and suites as necessary *Experience of developing and testing SOAP and REST APIs, and understanding of SOA architecture *Exposure to SQL/PL-SQL, writing SQL queries, stored procedures *Hands on experience with a few of the following: JUnit, ScalaTest, Selenium, WebDriver, Appium, LoadRunner, TestNG, JMeter *Experience with Software Quality Assurance methodologies (Functional, Stress, Acceptance, Validation) *3+ yrs of QA/development experience with strong understanding of test automation fundamentals *3+ yrs experience building automation test suites, libraries, and test harnesses
