Senior IT Project Manager - Software Delivery - 6 Months Contract

Remote Working

£500/Day Outside IR35

Senior IT Project Manager with strong software delivery experience and great understanding of both Waterfall & Agile methodologies (Prince2 strongly preferred), is required by a UK-wide firm. Any experience of Cloud-based Software projects would be a bonus.

This role can be fully remote with the occasional meeting in one of the UK offices.

This role is outside IR35.

Experience:

• At least 5+ years as an SDLC Project Manager in Software Delivery
• Work at a Senior level, ideally have some mentoring experience with Project Managers / Project Support Officers
• Have a portfolio of Software project delivery experience in different project areas, including managing software development projects
• Excellent Stakeholder management experience at a senior level
• Worked very closely with Software Developers (either .NET or Java environments)
• Any experience of working on Azure based projects would be a bonus
• Experience in Project Management through running complex projects with evidence of budget oversight
• Proven experience in different project management methodologies - Waterfall and Agile
• Project Management Qualification - PRINCE2 strongly preferred

With a strong experience in delivery, as the Project Manager will use your skills in managing multiple workstreams and projects, ensuring a collaborative working approach working in an effective project delivery team.

Responsibilities:

• Leading a new Software Development project, from start to finish
• Drive the planning and execution of the work for specific projects assigned
• Developing and deploying a plan to achieve the deliverables, ensuring that progress is maintained in line with objectives
• Managing the development and mentoring junior team members
• Utilising resources allocated to be accountable for the successful delivery of the project in terms of time, cost, and quality
• Responsible for managing project scope, budget, issues, risks, dependencies, and changes
