DevSecOps Engineer (Fully Remote)

Linux Recruit - London, UK

This is a huge opportunity to join a maverick style team within a huge multinational organisation, shaping the way the global organisation will function in the future. It's a DevSecOps position, implementing Cloud and Container security into a global contract

It's phase two of an overall plan to roll out a global de facto cloud platform across the whole organisation, using DevOps principles with Kubernetes at the core to reach the final objectives.
The second phase of the project requires some experienced DevSecOps resource to supplement the world-class engineering team that is already in place.

You'll have friction from all angles that you will have to manage. People who have worked in the same way for 20 years and are heavily resistant to change, trying to pass waterfall methodologies down your throat while passing DevOps off as a 'fad'. You'll need to be the type of person who isn't afraid to be completely frank and honest, and the ability to tell people their kids are ugly.

Things that you'll be interested in, and you'll have the opportunity to work with the below:

  • Public Cloud specifically AWS
  • Kubernetes, docker and container tooling
  • Micro-service architectures in production
  • Secure software development : including security testing into CI/CD SDLC processes

You'll be joining a genuine world class function that is being built. We need someone who is passionate, forward thinking and ambitious, and someone who can not just implement but can evolve and create world class Security solutions.

Terms that will excite you: DevSecOps
Kubernetes
DevSecOps
CI/CD/Cloud/Containers
