Senior Azure Solution Architect

Essential Requirements

• Over 15 years of IT experience with a minimum of 4-6 years of hands-on experience as an Azure Cloud Solutions Architect and Automation Expert
• Experience in all aspects of Azure Cloud services (e.g. infrastructure, storage, platforms and data, etc.)
• In depth knowledge of

• Azure Automation
• Role Based Access Control (RBAC) configuration
• Azure Policy Management
• Management Groups
• Azure Blueprints
• Azure ARM Templates for resource automation * Hands on development experience

• Azure CLI
• Azure PowerShell Scripting
• JSON Definitions for Azure Services * Azure Traffic Manager (GTM, LTM), Azure Application Gateway (Application Firewall & Load Balancing)
• Azure DevOps & Pipeline Integration

Responsibilities

• Automate NLRB Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) provisioning processes.
• Lead an initial assessment of the existing organization, processes, tools, and environments.
• Develop Azure Policy and Azure Management configuration and apply them to all Subscriptions.
• Advise OCIO through the build of a fully functioning end2end service automation prototype, including development of applicable documentation.
• Develop Automation scripts, Azure ARM templates, and Blueprints specific to NLRB provisioning processes.
• Develop Role Based Access Control (RBAC) framework.
• Work with OCIO tech lead to integrate the Automation processes.
• Lead a retrospective review of the work stream efforts, including development of applicable documentation, training, and knowledge transfer efforts.
• Help setup and establish Azure Governance for Center of Excellence.
• Participate and contribute in cutting edge Cloud Reference Architecture for our new latest generation Cloud Service.
• Provide expertise and leadership regarding Cloud Architecture for both infrastructure and applications in Microsoft Azure
