Role Description
• The Blue Prism Process Developer has responsibility for developing and delivering automated processes. • The developer will work directly with a team of 3-4 developers and occasionally interact with a 3rd party team (project specific). • 5-7 years of experience in an IT related role supporting development and implementation • 1-2 years of work experience with Blue Prism and at least 2 implementations as well as RPA experience • Understanding of workflow-based logic and the ability to both understand a business process from a workflow diagram and to conceptualize it as an automated solution • A track record in training and mentoring individuals on development and delivery disciplines • Strong experience with developing software requirements and managing projects through the SDLC • Strong Experience with process improvement and optimization IT projects • Familiarity with the Waterfall and Agile software development processes • Good communication skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience • An aptitude for problem solving, with the ability to take a logical route to the source of an error
Skills & Requirements • Creating Bots from scratch • Able to mentor junior developers to enhance their skills. • Conduct code reviews to ensure RPA code complies with COE standards and best practices • Work with Functional Analysts to understand automation requirements • Interface with business SMEs and stakeholders to validate requirements and automation performance • Design Blue Prism process solutions in accordance with standard Blue Prism design principles and conventions • Configure new Blue Prism processes and objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable, and easy to understand • Create and maintaining solution documentation (e.g. PDD, SDD, test plans/results, Run Book, User Guide) • Problem solve issues that arise in day to day running of Blue Prism processes and providing timely responses and solutions as required • Work within project planning constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues to the delivery/project manager accordingly and providing inputs to the change control process • Support Operational Teams during the UAT and rollout phases
