Job Description :Oracle EBS Developer
Our higher education client is migrating their ERP finance systems from Oracle EBS to Workday Finance. The project began last year and go live is targeted for summer 2021.
We need someone that can write custom programs to move data from Oracle EBS to Workday while understanding the Financial Data Model (FDM), and then test and validate.
The Enterprise Applications team is looking for 4 Oracle Developers through summer 2021 to:
Backfill staff that have transitioned to the FST project
Extract data from Oracle for conversion to Workday. These developers will work with functional analysts who will help identify and validate data that needs to be extracted.
We need a developer who is familiar with the Labor Distribution data structures.
Develop the FDM Conversion Tool, which is a single-purpose application that will be sunset about a year after go-live.
Develop the FDM Validator Tool, which will be needed by the client on an ongoing basis. There may be other “gap” application needs that will be identified later on.
Required Skill sets:
Strong Oracle EBS Experience and PL/SQL development skills
Write programs to pull data out of Oracle and put it into formats (probably XML or XSLT) that can be loaded into Workday.
