Oracle APEX REST Date Services ORDS Developer - REMOTE

REMOTE Position - Contract in Houston

Person has to have current Oracle APEX and ORDS skills in custom solution environment not EBS environment!!!

Perfect control of Written and spoken English, otherwise no need to apply

Skills:

• Proven knowledge in Oracle APEX (4.0 +), SQL and Advanced PL/SQL.
• Current Hands On knowledge of ORDS - Oracle REST Data Services - Please do not apply otherwise
• Familiarity with Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports
• Expert level with REST API and SOA. Services and microservices
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
• Expert understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms.
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery.
• Intermediate level of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as ExtJS, AngularJS and ReactJS.
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Good working knowledge of packages, functions and analytics.
• Strong understanding and experience of relational database structures. PL/SQL and relational database modelling

Responsibilities:

• Coding complex new applications using Oracle APEX.
• Heavy focus on APEX ORDS REST Data Services API development and usage
• Upgrading and improving current Oracle APEX developed applications
• Applying best development standards and practices
• Developing and implementing appropriate error handling techniques.
• Creating and executing test plans as part of program development.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $75.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• Bachelor's (Preferred)
