Java Architect and Developer (Remote)

A well-recognized industry leader in the automotive industry is hiring a Java Architect to their Development team. This is a Contract-to-Hire position and will receive comprehensive benefits while on contract (about six months) before converting to a fulltime, salaried employee.

It is an exciting time to join the team as they have new projects in the pipeline with modern technology for 2021. This Architect will focus on the design and development of their automated platform that serves both B2B and B2C functions. They are looking for this Architect to have extensive experience in Java 1.8 and 1.11, Spring Boot, and Amazon Web Services. This is a fully remote role (even post-Covid) and has a clear path for growth.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience with designing applications in Java and Spring Boot
  • Knowledgeable of front-end JavaScript frameworks (Typescript, React, Angular, etc.)
  • Extensive experience with relational databases (MySQL, Postgres, DynamoDB, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Deployment technologies (Jenkins, Docker, etc.)
  • Experience with Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

    • Desired Skills & Experience

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience with various scripting languages for automation
  • Experience with configuration management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
  • Experience with data streaming technologies (Kafka, Spark, Flink)

  • Competitive Pay: Up to $60/hour, DOE
  • Contract Duration: Six Months Contract-to-Hire
