A NEW Active Directory SME / Consultant (Infrastructure Engineer) Contract has just been released by our Edinburgh based Financial Services Client (a well-known Asset Management/Investments organisation). Joining an established Architecture & Engineering Team (replacing a Contractor who's moving to another role), the successful is required to assist with the planning, design & implementation of updates and improvements to the current Active Directory environment.
Candidates should have in-depth Active Directory & Group Policy knowledge & experience with specific knowledge & experience in the following areas;
- Must have strong & proven Infrastructure Engineering skills & experience, gained within other large & established Financial Services Clients
- In-depth Active Directory Expertise including;
oSecurity& Admin of Active Directory environment
oActive Directory replication & performance troubleshooting
oGroup Policy & SYSVOL
oActive Directory disaster recovery planning, AD FS, AD-integrated DNS, AD Trusts & AGPM
oRole-based Access Control
- Strong Networking knowledge with additional knowledge & experience with virtualisation technologies such as Hyper-V & VMware
- Additional AD CS, PKI & DHCP knowledge & experience
- Any previously cloud knowledge would be hugely advantageous - Microsoft Azure (particularly Azure AD, Azure AD DS, AD Connect)
- PowerShell scripting skills
- Excellent people, communication & inter-personal skills with the ability to quickly adapt to new roles/environments/teams
