SUMMARY:

We are looking to hire a full-time contract to hire Senior .NET Core Full Stack Developer. Currently we are working remote during this time of COVID, afterwards we will determine the remote policy. During the contract period the developer will need to plan to work full-time in our client's Nashville office once COVID levels have drastically decreased. For this reason, we are only looking to hire candidates local to the Nashville area.

The developer will need to be a strong Full Stack developer, who has experience leading, doing design and architecture of all layers, from a JavaScript UI with .NET Core MVC, through serverless functions hosted in Azure in the middle tier to the SQL Server back end with stored procedures and/or Entity Framework 6+. XAML experience is a plus as our mobile is Xamarin and in 2021 we will make use of Maui for our web to use XAML and share code with mobile.

The developer will need to be highly independent, while also being a team player.

Upon full-time conversion, salary will depend on experience, however looking at 80-115K. A developer would need over 10 years experience to be on the upper end.

Full Description:
The Software Engineer IV is a senior full-stack software development engineer.

60% Software Development - The position will architect and deliver major end-to-end cloud based system and feature components. The position will design product features and services, write unit tests, resolve production tasks, participate in code reviews, resolve bugs, solve issues, identify and resolve process improvements, while making suggestions for automation opportunities throughout the product lifecycle.

30% Architect and Design: Stay up-to-date with the technologies and tools to help drive improvements in coding standards, user experience, workflow, and service quality. Check-in code daily and ship product on time. Performs other assignments as needed.

10% Management. - Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; work outcomes must meet and/or exceed productivity and quality standards. Able to work as part of a cooperative team environment; independent of direct supervision; adhere to Company and Department policies and procedures

KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related major; or equivalent experience.
  • General development, 7+ years
  • C#, .NET Core, ASP .NET, 7+ years
  • API’s and n-tier, 5+ years
  • REST and MVC patterns, 5+ years
  • SQL, 5 years
  • JavaScript (jQuery, React, Ember, Express, Node JS preferred), 5+ years
  • Git Source Control, 2+ years
  • Azure for Web, API’s and Serverless Functions, 1-2 years

Preferred:
  • XAML and/or Xamarin Mobile App development
  • Salesforce.com development (Lightning
  • NetForum Enterprise (incl. Toolkit, Object Layer usage, xWeb and iWeb)
