Job Description: Front End Web Developer UI/UX

THINKMD is looking for an experienced Front End UI/UX Web Application Developer to join our growing team. We’re developing new digital mHealth technology via a simple to use, configurable progressive web application (PWA) currently being used by a multitude of end-users around the globe. There are unique challenges in developing the UI/UX experience for our end-users and needed for our health care products requiring passion driven creativity and problem-solving skills.

THINKMD’s SaaS product is delivered as a multilingual, offline first, PWA (Progressive Web App) based on Javascript, HTML, and CSS. As part of our product development team, you’ll work alongside our engineers, clinicians, data scientists and project managers to craft digital health interfaces that will impact lives around the world.

Essential Job Functions:

• A full-stack web developer able to work independently as part of a small SaaS team
• Work with team members to design and architect new product functionality and modules.
• Experience in setting up and administering scalable data offerings
• Apply state-of-the-art UX practices
• Advise on matters of software architecture and engineering
• Apply and promote good software engineering practices such as test automation and simplification
• Strong SQL and NoSQL experience
• Database design, management and administration.
• Health data and web-enabled APIs integration

Requirements:

• 5+ years JavaScript development experience
• Experience with Node/Vue/Vuetify/NoSq l/Git
• Experience with Firebase, CouchDB, Amazon Alexa or other NoSQL databases and tools
• Experience designing APIs and applications from concept to testing.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX.
• Excellent creative thinking and communication skills
• Problem solver who welcomes failure as learning process

Preferred:

• Experience with Heroku/Webpack/Feathers/Postgres/Nightwatch
• Experience with i18n language internationalization and localization
• Experience with Tableau, and automation of data streams/dashboards
• Experience with Health data APIs, FHIR
