Front-End Magento 2 Developer (Remote)

The Front End Web Developer designs, creates, and implements front-end web properties, integrating them into shopping carts, CRM systems, and other back end systems, focusing on the end user experience and usability. The Developer has a strong background in website design and development and background includes the ability to address HTML, PHP and scripting compatibility issues between different browsers. The Front End Web Developer also monitors industry trends, technologies, and standards and researches, recommends and applies new technologies as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that the layout of the content is accessible and logical; recommend improvements as necessary
• Work with the marketing team to establish landing pages for contests and campaigns
• Develop and maintain mobile versions of all sites, landing pages, etc.
• Other duties as assigned by management

Required Qualifications:

• Must have 3-4 years + of experience developing and designing responsive websites
• Must have advanced knowledge of CMS systems WordPress and Magento
• Must have working knowledge of CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap/Foundation/YAML and best practices
• Must have working knowledge of frontend technologies HTML5, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, etc.
• Good understanding of code versioning systems such as Git, Bitbucket, GitLab, etc.
• A rich portfolio of work samples. Work must be online and live.
• Good understanding and demonstrated capabilities of supporting SOAP/REST/XML-RPC
• Proven expertise in Magento 1 to 2 upgrades & data migrations
• Magento Certified

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Comfortable working in a LAMP stack environment and using linux command line
• Must be knowledgeable and demonstrate experience with cross-browser and cross-platform/device issues IE, FireFox, Safari, Chrome, tablet/mobile, etc
• Ability to quickly and accurately make changes to existing websites
