People Source are currently seeking Skilled DevOps Engineers with a particular persuasion towards AWS to take on a full time contract with our client in Leeds.
Working within a central Government Department on critical National Infrastructure, this is an initial 6 month contract with a high likelihood of extension.
Essential skills and experience:
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of working with the AWS cloud platform within the last 2 years
Demonstrate experience of using 'Infrastructure as Code' to provision and manage cloud infrastructure using terraform within the last 2 years
Demonstrate experience of using Git and GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket within the last 2 years
Demonstrate knowledge of test and behavioural driven development (TDD and BDD) within the last 2 years
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment within the last 2 years
Demonstrate experience of using ConcourseCI to provide continuous integration and continuous deployment within the last 2 years
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) within the last 2 years
Demonstrate experience of using AWS CloudWatch within the last 2 years
Demonstrate experience of using AWS S3 (Simple Storage Service) within the last 2 years
Demonstrate experience of using AWS Key Management Service (KMS) within the last 2 years
Demonstrate experience of using AWS Elastic Cloud Compute (EC2) within the last 2 years
Demonstrate experience of developing in Python within the last 2 years
Demonstrate experience of developing in Go, Java or Node.js within the last 2 years
Demonstrate experience of using Docker within the last 2 years
Nice-to-have skills and experience:
Demonstrate experience of consuming Apache Kafka data feeds within the last 2 years
Demonstrate experience of using CircleCI to provide continuous integration and continuous deployment within the last 2 years
Demonstrate experience of using AWS Lambda within the last 2 years
Demonstrate experience of using AWS Elastic MapReduce (EMR) within the last 2 years
Demonstrate experience of using AWS Cloud Hardware Security Module (CloudHSM) within the last 2 years
Demonstrate experience of using AWS Cognito within the last 2 years
Demonstrate experience of using AWS Workspaces within the last 2 years
In Return:
Circa £600pd (Outside of IR35)
6 Month initial contracts, likely to extend
Flexible / remote working on arrangement
