Position: Data Integration Engineer
Duration: 24 Months contract
Location: Columbus OH / 100% remote work available
Top skills are Python, data warehousing, SQL querying, SQL server. ETL and server integration would be great, as well as either Java or .NET.
Project Duration: Project is slated to last 2 years (may be able to move onto something else afterward)
Position Location: would be great if they were local to be able to work onsite when needed, but he is open to 100% remote especially if they have some of the preferred, but not required skills listed below. They will have to work EST hours (but occasionally some off hours to coordinate with off-shore team). If they are 100% remote, he would like someone who is at least open to traveling onsite for major project milestones as needed.
Key thing we are looking for: We are looking for a resource who has previous data transformation and system integration experience between diverse systems.
Must have technologies:
1) Data warehouse, Relational database, SQL server query, and admin experience.
2) Python scripting experience
3) Net and Java experience – would like someone with both, but if they only have one Java is higher in preference
4) Agile experience
Preferred, but not required: (I have listed them in order of importance)
1) Semantic modeling, UML, Object-oriented programming
2 )XML, JSON data formats, XSD, RDFS schema format knowledge
3) CIM standards knowledge – we know this is extremely niche, but worth a shot to include to start
4) Webservices development experience and
5) Apache Jena and RSQL and DevOps experience
6) Cloud Architecture experience
